Chapter 1959 - 1990: An Outsider

Chapter 1959 - 1990: An Outsider

Ye Feng, with just a raise of his hand, had annihilated a Xuan God expert and the others around him, a scene enough to leave everyone present utterly astounded. Moreover, these people were not just ordinary Xuan God experts; they carried a much loftier status.

Because they hailed from this region's most formidable Black Water Sect, and among them was the sect's second eldest disciple.

All these identities were enough to make ordinary cultivators tremble with fear, yet Ye Feng seemed to feel no such pressure.

After casually exterminating Bai Sen and the others, under everyone's watchful eyes, he walked out of the tavern, an action that held everyone's breath, their eyes tightly fixed on the scene unfolding before them.

Watching Ye Feng and the others' departing figures, their eyes filled with admiration and respect, so profoundly intense.

Inside the tavern, the bearded man and others from the Black Water Hall stared where Bai Sen and the others' bodies had dissipated, their hearts wrenched with agony.

Their bodies trembled uncontrollably, eyes bulging wide, drenched in sweat from head to toe.

Their faces were utterly ashen, devoid of a hint of blood color, becoming exceedingly despondent.

At the same time, their hearts harbored a hint of luck and fortune; if Bai Sen and the others hadn't come earlier, it might have been the bearded man and his comrades lying dead here.

"Boss, what should we do?" Those subordinates asked tremulously, looking at Ye Feng and the others' distant backs.

"What else can we do? Report this matter to the Upper Sect, and they will naturally dispatch someone to handle it. No matter how high this person's cultivation is, under the Upper Sect's might, they are doomed. It's just a pity about that little lady," the bearded man replied gloomily.

After saying this, the bearded man left with his people.

As they left, bystanders around them couldn't help but feel relieved, immediately starting to gossip.

"That senior's strength just now was incredibly powerful, but killing the second disciple under the nose of the Black Water Sect, is that really appropriate?"

"Humph, you're seriously underestimating that senior. Do you think someone who dares to kill so readily would fear a mere Black Water Sect?"

"True, that senior's strength is overwhelmingly strong. I wonder if he's willing to take on disciples. If he is, I'm now eager to become his pupil—having such a master would truly be a lifetime of honor."

"With your cultivation and talent, better keep working hard and stop daydreaming every day."

"..."

As praises slowly spread, all eyes were focused on Ye Feng and the others' distant direction.

Upon exiting the tavern, Ye Feng didn't head for the inn; instead, he wandered around the streets with Green and Yaya.

Behind, Green was no longer startled by Ye Feng's demonstrations, having become accustomed to everything Ye Feng did.

While Yaya followed respectfully, those beautiful eyes cast towards Ye Feng, the corners of her mouth lifting subtly into an involuntary smile.

Yaya knew deeply that if not for this majestic figure before her, she would have died countless times already, definitely not alive now.

Therefore, her gratitude towards Ye Feng had reached a point beyond words. Clenching her jade hands tightly, she silently vowed never to leave Ye Feng in this lifetime.

No matter whether Ye Feng accepts her or not, her heart now belonged solely to Ye Feng.

While Ye Feng and the two strolled on the street, on a towering peak to the north of Azure Dragon City, thick mist swirled around.

Suddenly, a streak of lightning flashed across the sky, arriving quickly without stirring a speck of dust.

As the lightning vanished, a silhouette appeared from within, kneeling on one knee just as they landed.

"Greetings to you, esteemed headmaster," the blue-robed figure resounded sternly.

As the voice fell, it transformed into a mighty wave, spreading outwards from the blue-robed figure.

This spreading trend was extensive, covering the mountain in just a breath, and as the sound gradually faded and dispersed.

A voice, frail with a note of solemnity, came from the distance.

"What is it?"

Upon hearing this voice, the blue-robed figure lowered their head even more, their body trembling involuntarily.

Their eyes burst forth with a brilliant light, filled entirely with a sense of reverence and admiration.

"Reporting to the headmaster, the eldest and the second disciple were slain within half a month." The blue-robed figure reported truthfully.

"What?"

Boom.

Thunderous rage echoed, an enraged roar surging from afar as if traversing the distance.

Just as this roar arrived, the blue-robed figure shuddered, and their body was thrown backward like a tornado.

The retreat was swift, and as they hit the ground, the blue-robed figure's face was utterly pale.

They spat out several mouths of fresh blood, struggling to rise from the ground, looking forward, and upon seeing an aged figure emerging from the fog, their reverence deepened.

"Say it again."

The elderly figure walked forward slowly, suddenly releasing an unparalleled aura as his eyes cut forward like blades, causing the blue-robed figure immense pain and discomfort.

When he spoke, the blue-robed figure felt as though both ears were shaking, akin to being struck down into the eighteen layers of hell.

Upon hearing this voice, the blue-robed figure dared not neglect, hastily saying, "Yes, headmaster."

"The eldest and the second disciple have been consecutively killed within the past half month," repeated the blue-robed figure.

"Who did it?" continued the elderly figure as he approached, asking coldly.

The freezing voice conveyed instantly, causing the blue-robed figure to spit out more fresh blood.

"An outsider," stated the blue-robed figure, striving to withstand the formidable aura from the elderly figure while focusing intently.

"An outsider?"

Upon hearing this, the elderly figure began laughing heartily.
