Chapter 270: Resurrection Requirements
Chapter 270: Resurrection Requirements
Zhou Yuan snapped his fingers, and a little bee flew out of his pocket and gracefully circled in front of him.
"Master, what are your orders?" The little bee's words startled Xiao Mei and Zhou Yuan's mother, who almost let go of her. The little baby stared at the little bee with wide, curious eyes, waving its arms and legs excitedly.
The little bee turned around and looked at the baby in Zhou Yuan's mother's arms. "Master, we can give this cute baby a Transformer and a holographic starry sky."
"Okay, you and Aya should get ready as soon as possible."
"Yes, Master." As soon as she finished speaking, the little bee flew to an open space in the yard, slowly grew larger, and became a spaceship. Xiao Mei and Zhou Yuan's mother were stunned again.
Three minutes later, a buzzing sound came from the little bee spaceship, and a luxury sports car rushed out. After landing, the sports car stood up like a carp doing a somersault and began to transform into a robot. The baby in Zhou Yuan's mother's arms seemed very happy and clapped his little hands. The robot then transformed into a fighter jet and flew around the yard.
Three minutes later, a small glass sphere was ejected from the bee-shaped spaceship, which had now returned to its original form. The sphere hovered in the air, suddenly radiating brilliant light. This light flowed and extended, quickly forming a giant spherical screen, upon which twinkling stars appeared. However, these stars seemed somewhat obscured by the sunlight.
Zhou Yuan frowned and pointed to the glass sphere, freezing the holographic starlight image on it.
Zhou Yuan stood up from the chair and faced the sun. Xiao Mei and Zhou Yuan's mother didn't know what Zhou Yuan was going to do.
Zhou Yuan looked up at the sun in the sky diagonally above him, then looked away, closed his eyes, and remained standing still.
A dozen minutes later, Zhou Yuan opened his eyes, looked at the sun, raised his right hand, and snapped his fingers in the direction of the sun.
After the snap of the fingers, the sun, which had been shining brightly just moments before, was as if shrouded in darkness. The sky instantly darkened, and the earth was plunged into complete darkness. The sun had vanished, and as if night had fallen, the stars in the sky twinkled clearly.
Ye Xiaomei and Zhou Yuan's mother could only feel their hearts pounding.
In the darkness, the tiny glass spheres, dotted with starlight, began to magnify. Several large fireballs rushed towards them, followed by a spiral galaxy. The scene grew increasingly spectacular, with galaxies rotating throughout the entire courtyard. For the first time, Xiaomei experienced the beauty of the universe. This holographic experience gave her a truly immersive feeling. Even Zhou Yuan's mother was amazed. The little baby seemed to thoroughly enjoy being immersed in it.
The holographic galaxy was displayed for nearly twenty minutes before slowly shrinking back and finally disappearing. Darkness returned to the world, and the stars in the sky twinkled.
Xiao Mei and Zhou Yuan's mother were horrified; this power was simply unbelievable.
Zhou Yuan snapped his fingers at the sky again, and instantly the world brightened, with sunlight shining down from above.
Zhou Yuan took a few sips of tea and said to Xiao Mei, "Xiao Mei, I have to go now. If needed, just call the ring."
Xiao Mei gazed at Zhou Yuan, seemingly reluctant to part, but still nodded slightly.
Zhou Yuan turned around to face his mother. His mother took two steps back, and Zhou Yuan took two steps forward, patted the baby's head, and then snapped his fingers. A little bee flew to Zhou Yuan and said, "Little bee, give this baby a ring."
"Yes, Master."
A glittering golden ring appeared out of thin air and slipped directly onto the baby's left index finger. Then, with a flash of light, the ring disappeared.
"Auntie, what's his name?" Zhou Yuan asked his mother.
"His name is Ye Wangzhou."
"Ye Wangzhou? Hmm, I understand."
Zhou Yuan hooked Ye Wangzhou's finger around his, and the little guy held on tightly. Zhou Yuan smiled.
"Little bee, let's go to the National Astronomical Observatory."
"Yes, Master."
The little bee then unfolded into a spaceship. Zhou Yuan waved to Xiao Mei and his mother, stepped into the spaceship, and with a whoosh, it disappeared immediately.
The baby in Zhou Yuan's mother's arms burst into tears.
Xiao Mei was lost in thought, staring blankly at the chair Zhou Yuan had just sat in. Suddenly, a "bright idea" struck her, and she remembered Mei Ruolan.
"Xiaomei, it's getting a bit hot outside, let's go into the lobby."
"Mom, I need to go to the National Astronomical Observatories."
“Silly child, what good will it do you go? He’s not my son.”
"I'm not reconciled," Xiaomei said, sounding somewhat hysterical.
Zhou Yuan's mother looked at Xiao Mei, then at Ye Wangzhou in her arms, and said to Xiao Mei, "Then go and get my son back."
Xiao Mei touched Ye Wangzhou's little hand, then turned around, opened the courtyard gate, started the car at the alley exit, and prepared to drive quickly towards the National Astronomical Observatory. Xiao Mei saw many people on the road with blank stares, and a few were even looking up at the sun in the sky. Xiao Mei quickly turned on the car radio.
"The sun's inexplicable disappearance for twenty minutes has plunged the world into panic. Many believe that the end of humanity is imminent. Various countries have issued martial law orders, and national academies of sciences and national astronomical observatories are organizing elites to study this strange phenomenon of the sun's disappearance..."
Xiao Mei felt her head throbbing. She took a deep breath to calm herself down, then stepped on the gas, and the car sped away.
Looking at the familiar dirt road, Xiao Mei recalled everything she and Zhou Yuan had done on this road more than three years ago, and couldn't help but burst into tears. She accelerated even more, speeding towards the gate of the National Astronomical Observatories.
Fortunately, the National Astronomical Observatories underwent restructuring during the war between East and West, and the gate was no longer guarded by armed police, but by ordinary security guards. This security guard was very familiar with Xiaomei, who had visited the observatory many times before. After a brief registration at the security office, Xiaomei drove her car into the courtyard. After finally finding an empty space, she parked her car and noticed that there were several military-plated vehicles in the parking lot.
Xiao Mei hurriedly returned to the guard post at the gate and borrowed the phone to call Mei Ruolan's home. Mei Ruolan's voice came through, "Sister Xiao Mei? I just called your house, but no one answered. Do you know? Brother Zhou came to my house."
"Xiao Lan, you have to be careful, he's not Zhou Yuan."
Mei Ruolan seemed puzzled; there was no sound from her on the phone. "Xiao Lan, Xiao Lan?"
"Sister, I'm here. What's wrong with you two?"
"I'm at the entrance of the observatory courtyard. Let's talk when we get to your house."
"Okay, come here."
"Xiao Lan, I'll be right there." Xiao Mei hurriedly hung up the phone, thanked the security guard, and then rushed towards Building No. 3.
Xiao Mei knocked on the door, and it opened. Xiao Mei saw Zhou Yuan sitting in the living room. Zhou Yuan seemed a little surprised to see Xiao Mei, but he quickly smiled at her.
"Sister, come in quickly." Xiao Lan let Xiao Mei in and then closed the door. Three years had passed, and Mei Ruolan had grown taller and become even more beautiful. Xiao Mei remembered that she was four years older than Xiao Lan, so Xiao Lan should be twenty-three this year.
Mei Ruolan poured a cup of tea and handed it to Xiao Mei.
"Xiao Lan, where is Aunt Mei?"
"She just left; she went to the conference center. Brother Zhou and she got along well, and my mom told me to treat Brother Zhou well."
It's clear that Mei Ruolan doesn't yet know Zhou Yuan's true identity.
Mei Ruolan wondered why Xiao Mei wasn't sitting next to Zhou Yuan, but instead sitting opposite him, while Mei Ruolan sat next to Xiao Mei.
Xiao Mei stared intently at Zhou Yuan, showing no fear whatsoever. Zhou Yuan smiled slightly.
"Sister, I'm so confused. I haven't seen Brother Zhou for three years, but his face hasn't changed at all. How come he looks exactly the same as when I met him three years ago?"
"Xiao Lan, stop asking. He's not human."
Mei Ruolan looked at Xiao Mei in surprise, then at Zhou Yuan, sensing that the two of them were having a fight. Mei Ruolan fell silent.
"Ruolan, I came here just to see if you're alright, nothing else. I just saw Xiaomei, and I didn't expect you two to know each other."
Xiao Mei interrupted, "Of course I know Xiao Lan. You don't know the story of me, Brother Zhou, and Xiao Lan."
Xiao Mei's words stirred up Mei Ruolan's memories. Mei Ruolan recalled how Zhou Yuan had paid for her transportation to the hospital to find Xiao Mei, and she couldn't help but feel a little emotional. Three years had passed, but it still seemed so vivid in her mind.
"Actually, I don't want to know. If I wanted to know about the things between Zhou Yuan and you, Ye Xiaomei, Chu Xiaolu, Pan Na, and Mei Ruolan, I would know. You just learned about my power."
Mei Ruolan was confused by the conversation between Ye Xiaomei and Zhou Yuan, not knowing what her Brother Zhou was talking about.
Xiao Mei glanced at Mei Ruolan and could roughly sense Xiao Lan's confusion. "Xiao Lan, just remember one thing: he's not the Brother Zhou you're thinking of."
Mei Ruolan looked at Zhou Yuan and Ye Xiaomei in surprise, "Sister Xiaomei, what's going on?"
"Ruolan, Xiaomei is right. I am indeed not the Zhou Yuan that the four of you think of."
Ye Xiaomei suddenly roared, "Then give it back to my Brother Zhou!" Even Mei Ruolan was startled by Xiaomei.
"Give it back to you? Give it back to you?" Zhou Yuan whispered. Xiao Mei's heart was pounding. Ever since she saw Zhou Yuan display his extraordinary abilities, she had told Zhou Yuan's mother that she wanted to come to the National Astronomical Observatories to find him, because she believed that Zhou Yuan could "revive" her older brother, as long as he agreed.
"Okay, but there's one condition." Xiao Mei was delighted to hear Zhou Yuan say this.
"What conditions?"
"If you want me to revive Zhou Yuan, all four of you must agree."
"Are you talking about me, Chu Xiaolu, Pan Na, and Mei Ruolan?"
"Yes."
"But Chu Xiaolu and Pan Na..."
"They are in the Western Kingdom. If you two are willing, I can bring them here immediately, but all four of you must agree."
Xiao Mei looked at Mei Ruolan and said, "Xiao Lan, this matter is also related to you. Please agree to my request, I'm begging you."
"Sister, I still don't quite understand, about Brother Zhou and me..."
"Xiao Lan, we'll talk about it later."
"it is good."
"Then please bring Xiaolu and Panna over." Xiaomei almost begged Zhou Yuan, and Mei Ruolan also pleaded, "Please help Xiaomei, sister."
"it is good."
After saying that, Zhou Yuan touched his left finger, and a gold ring appeared. He looked at the ring and said, "Nana."
"Yes, Master," Nana's holographic image appeared on the ring.
"Send Panna and Chu Xiaolu to this place as soon as possible."
"Yes, Master."
Zhou Yuan's ring disappeared holographically. Zhou Yuan smiled slightly at Xiao Mei and Mei Ruolan, "They'll be here soon. You two wait a moment."
About three minutes later, Xiao Mei and Mei Ruolan felt a flash of light in the hall, and Panna appeared. A few seconds later, the light flashed again, and Chu Xiaolu appeared.
Pan Na and Chu Xiaolu were clearly surprised to see each other, but they were even more surprised to see Zhou Yuan and the other two sitting at the table.
Ye Xiaomei and Mei Ruolan were meeting Chu Xiaolu and Pan Na for the first time, and Chu Xiaolu and Pan Na were also meeting Ye Xiaomei and Mei Ruolan for the first time. The four people and the two couples looked at each other.
