"I'll distract the guards, you find a chance to leave the city," Dugu Jianling said in a low voice, his voice revealing a hint of determination.

His figure gradually blurred in the night, as if he had blended into the surrounding environment. This was his unique concealment technique, which allowed him to hide his whereabouts in the dark.

Yun Muhan nodded. He knew that although Dugu Jianling's plan was dangerous, it was their best option at the moment. "Be careful, Jianling. I'll be waiting for you outside the city."

Dugu Jianling nodded, and his figure disappeared into the night. Soon after, the guards near the city gate suddenly became agitated, as if someone had discovered something suspicious.

The guards all ran in that direction, clearly attracted by the commotion created by Dugu Jianling, leaving a brief opening.

Yun Muhan seized the opportunity, his figure passing through the city gate like a ghost, without attracting anyone's attention.

As soon as he left the city, he quickly hid in the shadows of the city wall, waiting for Dugu Jianling. His heart was beating slightly faster, but he remained calm on the surface, confident that Dugu Jianling would return safely.

Soon after, Dugu Jianling appeared silently beside him, a smug smile on his face. "It seems our plan has succeeded."

His voice carried a hint of relief, clearly satisfied with his success in drawing the guards away and returning safely.

Yun Muhan breathed a sigh of relief and patted Dugu Jianling on the shoulder. "Well done, Jianling. Now the farther we are from the city, the better."

They quickly left the city walls and headed towards the northern wilderness. The stars in the night sky guided their way.

"Where do we go next?" Dugu Jianling asked, his eyes searching for a direction in the night sky.

"According to this map, our destination is the 'Forgotten Forest' in the north. It is said that an ancient ruin called the 'Star Tower' is hidden there."

Dugu Jianling nodded, his eyes sparkling with curiosity about the unknown. "'Star Tower'? That name sounds incredibly mysterious."

As they ventured deeper into the northern wilderness, the surrounding landscape gradually became desolate.

At the edge of the Forest of Oblivion, sunlight struggles to penetrate the tree canopy, casting dappled shadows, as if it were the entrance to another world.

Yun Muhan and Dugu Jianling stood at the edge of the forest, their gazes piercing through the dense tree trunks, trying to uncover the secrets hidden deep within.

The birdsong and roars of beasts coming from the forest added an air of the unknown and danger.

"We must be careful; the Forest of Oblivion is full of unknown dangers," Yun Muhan warned in a low voice, his tone serious.

Dugu Jianling nodded, his hand gripping the hilt of his sword, ready to deal with any potential threats. "I will protect your safety."

"Tch, I'd rather protect you."

The two took a deep breath and stepped into the forest. Their figures were quickly swallowed up by the dense trees and thick shadows.

"This is the Forest of Oblivion," Yun Muhan said in a low voice, his tone tinged with seriousness. "It is said that there are many unknown dangers here, and we must be careful."

Dugu Jianling nodded, his hand tightening on the hilt of his sword. "No matter what dangers lie ahead, we must investigate."

They followed the tracks and the arrangement of trees until they came to an open space.

In the center of the open space, an ancient stone tower stands tall, reaching into the clouds. Its body is covered with vines and moss, making it appear ancient and mysterious.

Moonlight filtered through the gaps in the tree canopy, dappling the stone tower and adding a layer of mystery to it.

The stone tower's doors were tightly shut, covered with intricate runes that shimmered faintly in the moonlight.

Yun Muhan and Dugu Jianling stood in front of the stone tower. They knew that this stone tower might be the 'Star Tower' they were looking for, and that it might hold the secrets they needed.

"This is the 'Tower of Stars'." Yun Muhan's voice carried a hint of excitement. "We've finally found it."

Dugu Jianling nodded, his sword already drawn, ready to face any challenge that might arise. "Let's go in and uncover its secrets."
